Hailer And Listen-Back Feature

For close ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communications, the LH5 delivers distortion-free hailing. In the Hail/Listen-Back mode, the Loud Hailer can send amplified audio signals to a Public Address (PA) horn and then listen back for a signal coming in from the PA horn.

Two-Station Intercom

Take full advantage of the LH5, by using its intercom capabilities. A two-way intercom, with remote station callback, ensures that conversations between the bridge and below deck are heard. This is great for the traditional intercom, or as bow-and-stern two-way command speakers for the crew when docking.

Automatic Signaling

The Loud Hailer can send different signals, used mostly to alert nearby vessels. Automatic signaling is typically transmitted through the PA horn, but the LH5 can also send these signals to the intercom speakers. The four preprogrammed foghorns, as well as anchor or aground bells will aid any vessel. In addition, the yelp and manual signals create a full-functioned hailer.
