WAAS (Wide Area Augumentation System)

A 12-channel WAAS receiver is the heart of the CP175C. WAAS, the latest receiver technology improves the accuracy and integrity of basic GPS signals. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position. This new technology allows every boater to obtain the accuracy of a Differential GPS without the additional expense. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and parts of northern South America. Additionally, the CP175C is EGNOS and MSAS ready which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent.

FF520 Dual Frequency Black Box Sounder

VHF Digital Selective Calling and Position Polling

The CP175C GPS Chart Plotter has the capability to be connected to STANDARD HORIZON VHF Fixed mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the CP175C and the VHF. Connecting the products together allow you to securely and totally privately poll and display another vessels position on the display of the CP175C. To take this one step further, the CP175C has a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call. STANDARD HORIZON pioneered this function, leading the industry with innovative features and function.

Designed For C-Map NT or NT+ Cartography

The CP175C is compatible to the C-Map cartography which has rattled off an amazing "Five for Five" winning streak that dates back to 1999 by the NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) for "BEST ELECTRONIC CARTOGRAPHY".

Supplied with Quick Release Bracket or Flush Mounting kit

The CP175C is supplied with a unique Quick Release bracket that allows the Chart Plotter to be removed and stored when not in use. For custom installations the CP175C is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount the Chart plotter in and area you choose. To make installation even simpler Standard Horizon supplies a cut out template sticker to that allows you to find the ideal location and guides you where to make the cuts for that custom installation.

Programmable Direct Access Page keys

The CP175C has 5 keys located under the display. By default these keys allow direct selection of the Chart, Navigation, Highway, Tide & Celestial, and NMEA Input pages. These key can be programmed to change to the pages you want to see, simply by pressing the key once and press and holding the key you can select to show Depth, SOG, Temp or Wind Trend pages, access the User points list or User C-Card. When the optional FF520 is connected, these keys can be programmed to switch to 50 or 200kHz Full Page Fish Finder, Full page Dual frequency, Chart/Fish split screen and Zoom pages. Dedicated Navigation Keys

Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! The CP175C has dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allows the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or to a Route, the GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed.
