See more than before with
this open array scanner
The GMR 404 open array
radar antenna allows you to scan more of what's
out there while you're on the water. Whether
ships, shores, birds or weather, you'll see it
sooner with the GMR 404 and its counterpart, the
GMR 406.
See Everything in
Sharper Detail
The GMR 404 is a 4-foot
scanner with 1.8° beamwidth and a 72 nautical
mile range. With this bandwidth and 4 kilowatts
of power, this radar offers outstanding clarity,
precision and target definition.
The GMR 406 is a 6-foot
scanner with 1.1 ° beamwidth. With this
bandwidth and 4 kilowatts of power, this radar
offers outstanding clarity, precision and even
more detailed target definition.
Integrate with any
network-compatible Garmin chartplotter
Any network-compatible
Garmin chartplotter can double as your radar
screen. And as an aid to locational awareness,
you can overlay the GMR 404 radar image on the
Garmin network's moving map cartography display.
You can also split the on-screen display so that
you can view the map and the standard radar page
simultaneously.
Easily Connect to Garmin Marine Network
The GMR 404
communicates with the
Garmin Marine Network
through a waterproof 100-megabit plug-and-play
proprietary network — which gives you the
ability to expand your boat’s system as needed.
You can connect a GPS antenna and one remote
network sensor (like the GMR 404) directly to a
multifunctional display. Or, with the addition
of the GMS™ 10 Network Port Expander, you can
connect multiple displays and network sensors to
the same network. |
