Water is a marine source unit’s worst enemy, and salt can be a nightmare. Our CMV1 and CMD7 source units have been IPX5 tested and certified to offer the highest water intrusion protection and salt resistance in their class.

Rubber gaskets stop water in its tracks, with integrated drainage channels to keep water out.

Direct USB iPod® and iPhone® Control and USB Playback

Get away from it all, but stay in touch with your music. Just connect your iPod’s USB cable to CMD7 rear USB input and you get complete key control of your iPod including genre/album/song title search and also you can use iPod’s control wheel (simple control mode). The same connection can also be used to play back audio files stored on USB memory.
